FIVE-time Grammy Award winner Lady Gaga is set to make a return to the stage, with her Born This Way Ball tour.

Gaga will perform songs from her latest album Born This Way, as well as music from both The Fame and The Fame Monster.

The Born This Way Ball, produced globally by Live Nation, will begin on April 27 in Seoul, South Korea and will travel the globe, including cities that Gaga has never played.

Lady Gaga's last tour - The Monster Ball - captivated audiences around the globe, receiving rave reviews in every city.

The Sun called it "the best live show you will see this year" and the Pollstar Concert Industry Awards named it the Major Tour of the Year.

"The Haus of Gaga and I have worked for months conceiving a spectacular stage," said Mother Monster.

"The Born This Way Ball is an electro-metal pop-opera; the tale of the beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame.

"How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating."

The Born This Way Ball will be Lady Gaga's first tour since the release of her album Born This Way, which has sold nearly six million copies worldwide since its release in May last year.

The album is the follow up to back-to-back Grammy Award-winning albums, 2009's The Fame Monster, and 2008's The Fame.

Combined, The Fame and The Fame Monster have sold 15 million albums worldwide, while Lady Gaga's hit singles have combined sales of more than 65 million worldwide.

Gaga was named Forbes' Most Powerful Woman in the World 2011 and was included in the annual "The 2010 Time 100" list of the most influential people in the world.

With more than 2.2 billion combined views of all her videos online, Lady Gaga is one of the biggest living people on Facebook, with more than 47 million 'likes'.

She is number one on Twitter, with nearly 19 million followers.

Lady Gaga is the only artist in the digital era to top the five million sales mark with her first two hits.

Tickets for The Born This Way Ball go on sale for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland from Friday at 9am sharp, at livenation.com.au.

Lady Gaga Will Give Fans a New Song For Christmas

Lady Gaga told her fans (aka Little Monsters) that she was going to give them an unreleased song for Christmas.

The song, says the singer, was recorded live, "in one take, on the tour bus. Uncensored." she tweeted.

The secret song was intended for the "Born This Way" album.

Lady Gaga, according to Forbes magazine, was the top earning female in music of 2011, racking in 
$90 million.

Forbes said that total was boosted by "strong album sales, endorsements and an extremely lucrative world tour."

Gaga made more than the combined earnings of No. 2 on the list -- Taylor Swift ($45 million) and No. 3 Katy Perry ($44 million).

So the millionaire is giving back ... "Been racking my brain on what to get Little Monsters for Christmas!! I finally figured it out!!" she tweeted.

Whatever it is, her fans will go gaga over it.

Lady Gaga Named Richest Female Music Artist

Lady Gaga has been named the richest female artist of 2011 - beating her rivals by raking in £58m this year alone.

The controversial pop singer made it to number one of the Top-Earning Women In Music List, compiled by Forbes.

The success was mainly due to the earnings she made from her latest CD, Born This Way.

The Canadian artist also made a significant amount of cash through her many endorsement deals, which include the likes of Polaroid, Virgin Mobile, Monster Cable and PlentyOfFish.com.

Lady Gaga earned doubled the income of runner up Taylor Swift, who earned £29m in 2011.

Quirky pop singer Katy Perry came in third at £28m, thanks to continued number one singles from her CD Teenage Dream, and from her California Dreams Tour.

She (SNP: ^SHEY - news) received the special achievement award for being the first female pop artist with five number one hits from a single album at the 2011 American Music Awards in Los Angeles.

She is the only artist to achieve that feat outside of Michael Jackson back in the 1980s.

Adele is the only Briton who managed to make it in to the top 10 list.

The success of her record-breaking album 21 saw her earn £11.6m net.

Pregnant Beyonce was also in the top five, adding £18.7m to her fortune.
