We have Time, a once-popular newsmagazine, to thank for completely changing the definition of “fashion.” The magazine has now listed in its “All-Time Top 100 Fashion Icons.”
Fashion icons are typically those people who dress classy or who others would want to dress like.
We don’t know you’re style, but we can assume you wouldn’t want to wear a meat dress or have an outfit made out of Kermit the Frog dolls.
So, what was Time’s reason for naming her a fashion icon? “Lady Gaga is just as notorious for her outrageous style as she is for her pop hits,” the website says, “Gaga has [even] partnered with brands like on tour outfits.”
Next time you don’t feel like picking out an outfit in the morning – just grab some duck tape and a dish towel. We’re sure you’ll create something equivalent to one of Gaga’s famous looks and you too could be a “fashion icon.”
